The only way I can think of to do a layer like you are asking for with TTS-1 would be to create your part and then copy it to another midi track. Then you'd assign your two instruments to midi channels 1 and 2 (for example) and load the sounds you wanted layered into those parts and assign the corresponding midi channels to the copied tracks. Of course, the problem with doing it this way is that you can't hear the layering while you are creating the part.
I don't think that Sonar will allow you to trigger the two midi parts at the same time from the same midi input to hear the layering as you input the parts.Ĭan you layer sounds inside of the tts-1?
